Study on the Test Error of Silt Dynamic Characteristic and Its Influence on the Peak Ground Acceleration

In order to grasp the nonlinear experimental errors of dynamic shear modulus ratio (DSMR) and damping (DR), as well current level resonant column testing, GZ-1 instrument was used study probability statistical indicators, basic laws, impact on peak acceleration DSMR DR silt under 8 typical strains. The results show that, firstly, different strains obey normal distributions. Secondly, there is no significant difference between reference range standard deviation outer envelope line. This result indicates that dispersion for same person very small. Thirdly, in medium hard sites, influence can be ignored. And test should not ignored soft ground with a exceeding 95%. Overall, testing accuracy personnel proved generally meet requirements, while other special cases, it necessary increase number parallel tests improve technology.
